In the Animation Art & Design program, you’ll learn to conceive and design two- and three-dimensional images using both traditional and digital techniques. You’ll alter, manipulate, and reconstruct characters to interact with audio and video elements. The Applied Photography program will prepare you to enter the photographic and electronic imaging industries through intensive hands-on utilization of photography equipment and materials. ART & DESIGN TECHNOLOGY (VIDEO PRODUCTION)

 

About the Program:

Video production is at the center of everything from sports coverage to news programming, Internet broadcasts, television commercials, and corporate presentations. The Video Production program presents the skills needed to effectively operate a camera and process film in analog and digital formats – leading to a final production. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as audio-visual technician, video editor, video producer, or videographer.

In the Audio & Media Technology program, you’ll study audio recording, audio for video, and production. You’ll work on industry-related equipment to gain experience with the technology used in the audio and media fields. About the Program:

Game Programming students are those who want to be more than a gamer -- they want to create the virtual worlds that attract the gamers. While pursuing a game programming degree, students learn coding, production, artistic concepts, and game play strategies. In this evolving industry, Game Programming students receive a hands-on introduction to programming, allowing them to collaborate on new ideas and techniques and speculate on those coming tomorrow.

In Professional Recording Arts, you’ll learn within digital and analogue recording studios using linear and non-linear recording technologies. Courses include professional session engineering, microphone techniques, outboard equipment, MIDI, signal flow, critical listening and audio/acoustic principles, and advanced recording techniques. Production, project management, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills are emphasized. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as in foley work, location audio production, and advanced synthesis applications for sound effects creation.
